This page also contains a series of graphs obtained by extrapolating data collected at various stages of the research. These graphs answer specific questions by exposing in visual form the outcome of processing the information collected in the geodatabase.

In all of the above sources, the number of voyages is based on the existing logbooks kept at the British Library and at the VOC archive and does not include the unsuccessful voyages, terminated with shipwreck, destruction or capture of the ships and for which the logbooks have not survived.
